Aitchison College, Lahore: a story told in frames

Maham and Aurangzeb's wedding moved from an intimate garden nikah, with prayers, signatures and a ring exchange among family, to a mehndi of disco balls, dholak songs and a groomsmen's dance. For their wedding-day portraits we took them to Aitchison College, Lahore, where cypress trees, domed brick gateways and scalloped arches held the golden hour light around her red lehenga. The night ended with a reception entrance beneath the Quran and a flower wall glowing with chandeliers. Legacy coverage, led personally by Arfa and Usman.
